And It Came to Me Then That Every Plan is a Tiny Prayer to Father Time...Love is Watching Someone Die

 Day 040.
Emotions were running high today. I did walked 3 miles with Team Eddison Alleen for the March of Dimes this morning/afternoon. It was quite a nice day for a walk, but when we got back to the Hatchshell it started hailing and raining. It was a great experience as always and the cause means so much to me.
The T-shirts are team wore. My best friend designs them each year and each year they turn out so fantastic. We've been walking each year for 5 years!!
I thought this picture was adorable and came out really, really well.

After the March for Babies, Andrew and I went home, relaxed a bit, then went to a benefit for the American Cancer society in honor of his best friend/coworker's mom. She died of breast cancer last year, so they were raising money for Relay for Life. I'm quite sure they made a lot of money for an equally great charity.
Lots and lots and lots of love to our family and friends today and every day. We wouldn't be where we are without their support and I have a feeling they wouldn't be where they are either. <3

Kiss a Wookie, Kick a Droid

 Day 038.
I know, I know. This should have been yesterday seeing as it was Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you), but I forgot, plus I had such awesome pictures yesterday. Perhaps tomorrow I shall be all Cinco de Mayo related pictures. Who knows.

This is the second week we've been going to what is called the Alpha course and it is an introduction to the Christian faith and already I have begun to love it. It asks many questions that I have asked myself, either to Andrew or just to myself because I was scared/nervous/etc. The Pastor that runs it is hilarious and so sweet and caring and the people at our table (around 10 people) are so different from me, yet we all have similar feelings and thoughts and questions. Anyway, I highly recommend it if you feel dumb about religion or even if you just have questions of a spiritual nature.

If you couldn't guess, this post was inspired by Andrew. He got the lego set from Santa and just built it a week ago. He has been begging me to take a picture of it and I decided tonight was a good night. After a long, hard, frustrating day, tonight was a good, thoughtful night.

 They're zooming into space!!

Love and Love and Happy Afternoons

Day 034.
Outdoors-y pictures! It was so sunny and beautiful today. It has been wonderful relaxing with Andrew today.  We went to church, went to Unos for lunch, took a nap, and got Coldstone! YUM! Next weekend will be busy, busy walking for March for Babies and celebrating my mother-in-law's 50 years being born!

Let Me Take You Down, Cause I'm Going to Strawberry Fields.

 Day 031.
Mmm, strawberries. I love, love, love the top picture (and strawberries). To me, it looks like a painting rather than a photograph. My hand model did a wonderful job, even if he complained the whole time. Also, he would like to mention he realizes he has a long thumb nail. He intends to cut it soon apparently.

My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean. My Bonnie Lies Over the Sea.

 Day 028.
My mom made this blanket for Andrew when he went to college. This is my favorite croqueted square on the blanket with the purples, pinks, and combination in the middle. My mom can make these blankets in a few days or weeks and they are absolutely beautiful and last for a lifetime, not to mention they are incredibly warm.

Happiness is a warm gun.

Day 025.
Happy Birthday Husband! I figured I would post this before our comedy show started! The song was playing while I wrote this. They aren't so appropriate for the occasion. Ha!

Laundry Day. See You There. Underthings, Tumbling.

 Day 021.
Patriot's day was today, which meant many parades around town and the Boston Marathon for many. For me, it was running errands. I got Husband's birthday present all bought and ready! SO EXCITED!

Since I was running errands that means I didn't get much of an opportunity to take pictures, so you get more laundry pictures. No one was there on account of said parades, so I took pictures of the multiple washers and dryers. My favorite is probably the middle one. Laundromats make for really cool pictures in my opinion.

If You Want to View Paradise, Simply Look Around and View It.

 Day 019.
Brownies were made tonight and they are delicious! I think the top picture came out really, really well.
I'm very excited for this next week. It is my niece's birthday party tomorrow, then I have Monday off, a three day week, and then it is my husband's birthday on Friday! Busy week, but I am totally ready. Bring it on wonderful life.

There Once Was an Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe

 Day 010.
Double Digit days! Wahoo!
This is Desmond. He was purchased for my husband when he went to the hospital with a stomach virus several years ago. He is a green hedgehog and gets his name from Lost. What a silly hedgehog!

Somebody Ring the Alarm, a Fire on the Roof

Day 009.
This is one of the views outside of our third floor apartment. Isn't it beautiful?! I would love to get a great picture to the right of the Church, but there are power lines all over it. I will somehow make it work.

I was taking these pictures while my husband was cooking dinner and he told me to rush to the window. I look outside and there are police lights, ambulances, and fire engines lighting up the street. We took a drive trying to see what was going on, but the roads were blocked. I used my internet skills/investigative skills and found out it is a three alarm fire. After looking that up, it means the fire department sent out three separate alarms to help battle the fire. Oddly enough, it doesn't smell like fire.

A big thank you to my husband for taking these pictures while I drove. Aren't they cool?

You Came in With the Breeze, On Sunday Morning, You Sure Have Changed Since Yesterday

Day 006.
The weather outside was beautiful, but we spent most of our day inside. We went to a new church about 10 minutes away. It was really a good time and made me think quite a bit. It even had an electric guitar! That really surprised me.
After church, we did laundry (see picture above) and visited family since we had a few things to drop off. Writing down what we did seems like a normal Sunday, but I felt very productive today. We still have a ton of dishes in the sink that need to be washed... tomorrow is another day!

My new ring modeled by my lovely husband. <3

And When you Smile, The Whole World Stops and Stares For Awhile

Day 005.
Today was an awesome day. I got to hang out for many, many joyous hours with one of my best friends and her daughter. Also, I got my birthday present from my husband. I shall take a picture and upload it tomorrow. Today I wanted to overload this blog with one of the cutest kids who has ever lived. She is my model. I have photographed her since she was born and she has always been this cute. However, I am just a little biased. :)
See? She was an excellent model. She even drew that picture!

Her mother has been violently ill all week, but wanted some low-key company, so we went over and hung out for a while. I helped around the house as much as I could, including to help bathe her child. I love hanging out with this family even doing basic chores. We are pretty much always laughing.
The two pictures below are my favorites from tonight. I love the lighting and even her concerned face. She was worried about my husband leaving and not saying good night to her. Adorable!

P.S - They did get to say goodnight to each other. No worries.

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream For Ice Cream!

Day 004.
Ice cream is, and always has been, my weakness. My first job was at an ice cream shop. I met my husband at said ice cream shop. Ice cream is always there for me and it is almost always completely delicious (not so much when you are shivering cold). Ice cream, here is my ode to you. I love you.
