Today I Didn't Even Have to Use My A.K. I Got to Say it Was A Good Day.

Day 032.
So much good today!
It has officially been one month since I started this blog (3-29-11).
Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot (SO cute/adorable/romantic)!
It felt like summer AGAIN!
Had free wine at work!
And took this beautiful picture after eating out with coworkers for lunch!

Let Me Take You Down, Cause I'm Going to Strawberry Fields.

 Day 031.
Mmm, strawberries. I love, love, love the top picture (and strawberries). To me, it looks like a painting rather than a photograph. My hand model did a wonderful job, even if he complained the whole time. Also, he would like to mention he realizes he has a long thumb nail. He intends to cut it soon apparently.

I Can't Quite Get There 'Cause My Heart's Forsaken Me.

 Day 030.
Have I told you I like trees? Well, I do. I think they are one of the prettiest parts of nature. These were taken down the street in the center of town. I love the lamppost shining through the tree branches and it was dusk, so the sky was this lighter blue for a little bit.
Today felt like summer! I feel like it has been forever since summer, at least in New England. Welcome summer!! Come stay for a long, long, LONG while.

I'll Break My Heart in Two, More Times Than You Could Ever Do.

Day 029.
I took this picture while waiting for the bus this morning. It was incredibly foggy out and even with the picture in black and white, the sky looked that color in the first place. I didn't like the photo that much at first, but every time I look at it I begin to like it more and more. The background with the full tree is cool, especially with the light shining in through the branches.

My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean. My Bonnie Lies Over the Sea.

 Day 028.
My mom made this blanket for Andrew when he went to college. This is my favorite croqueted square on the blanket with the purples, pinks, and combination in the middle. My mom can make these blankets in a few days or weeks and they are absolutely beautiful and last for a lifetime, not to mention they are incredibly warm.

I Take You to the Candy Shop.

Day 027.
Happy Easter!
I scattered eggs filled with reese's peanut butter cups (for Andrew) and Hershey Kisses (for me). It was fun trying to find spots where he wouldn't look right away. I'm excited to do that for our kids someday. My mom would often have me go on a scavenger hunt for Christmas. I love the top picture. I think these photos came out really well.

Happiness is a warm gun.

Day 025.
Happy Birthday Husband! I figured I would post this before our comedy show started! The song was playing while I wrote this. They aren't so appropriate for the occasion. Ha!

Do You Really Want to Live Forever, Forever, and Ever?

Day 024.
I took this picture last night, so it IS from yesterday I just had no way to post it last night. I shall post again later this eve when I have taken another picture for today. Yesterday was a busy day. I went to work, then babysat one of my nieces, then filed a police report for our stolen GPS system. Long day, but today should be much, much better.

Come Tiptoe Through the Tulips With Me!

Day 023.
I had never seen these types of flowers before, but they were outside the police station and I had to take a picture. I am assuming they are some type of daffodil? Anyway, they look like a carnation in the center with daffodil outside leaves. Cool! I was hoping to get a picture of the buds on the trees today, but I just ran out of time/effort. There is always tomorrow!
Happy Spring!

Let Us Pull Up a Chair as the Dining Room Proudly Presents - Your Dinner!

 Day 022.
One of my lucky numbers!! Sorry this blog is turning into a food blog, but my dinner is usually a highlight in my day. How could it not be when you look at these photos? Make you drool a little bit? I'm too full to drool.

 The end result:

Laundry Day. See You There. Underthings, Tumbling.

 Day 021.
Patriot's day was today, which meant many parades around town and the Boston Marathon for many. For me, it was running errands. I got Husband's birthday present all bought and ready! SO EXCITED!

Since I was running errands that means I didn't get much of an opportunity to take pictures, so you get more laundry pictures. No one was there on account of said parades, so I took pictures of the multiple washers and dryers. My favorite is probably the middle one. Laundromats make for really cool pictures in my opinion.

Sing, Sing a Song, Sing Out Loud

Day 020.
First post from my phone because it was a long day! Happy Birthday Niece! PS - This is her cat. I want a cat just like her when I can get an animal. :)

If You Want to View Paradise, Simply Look Around and View It.

 Day 019.
Brownies were made tonight and they are delicious! I think the top picture came out really, really well.
I'm very excited for this next week. It is my niece's birthday party tomorrow, then I have Monday off, a three day week, and then it is my husband's birthday on Friday! Busy week, but I am totally ready. Bring it on wonderful life.

I Remember When I Lost My Mind, There Was Something So Pleasant About That Place

Day 016.
This challenge is becoming more and more challenging, but I am making it. I only have 349 days to go...

Anyway, these little guys came from my nephew's birthday party last year. They sit in the corners of my shower/tub and guard me from cold water. Sometimes they don't do a good job. While I was photographing them, I named them as I usually name things. See also: I named my fish Freshman year Mr. Fish.
This here is Mr. No Face.
 This is Mr. Jagged Teeth.
This fine young gentleduck is Mr. Googly Eyes.

Aren't they precious?

Grow Old Along With Me, Whatever Fate Decrees, We Will See it Through

Day 015.
These days have been feeling like Spring and it has been absolutely glorious. The flowers are coming up and opening, the weather is warmer, and buds are growing on the trees. I wasn't sure if I should crop the picture above with the dead leaf, but maybe it makes it more spring like?

April 11, 2011

And I Would Have Stayed Up With You All Night.

Day 014.
I drove my friend from a medical procedure this morning and we napped and watched TV together. It was a relaxing day and I didn't even get caught in too much traffic coming home. Although, when I was stuck at a light for three green lights, I took this picture. I like the way it turned out with some editing.

Whistle While You Work And Cheerfully Together We Can Tidy Up the Place

Day 013.
It was definitely spring cleaning time in this apartment today. We cleaned the whole apartment from floor to ceiling with the help of this little guy. We have named him "Little Billy" and he is a very special robot in my heart. This is the underside of Little Billy after we were done cleaning. My hair is seriously everywhere.

I Will Follow You Into the Dark

 Day 012.
The picture above is what my day consisted of. We drove three hours North for the funeral of Andrew's great Aunt. Unfortunately, I got to meet her once at our wedding, but they had just renewed their vows because they had been together for 50 years. They danced, wished us well, and showed us how love can truly last a lifetime. She wrote poems and they were read during the funeral ceremony and were very creative and flowed quite nicely. You can tell she will be missed by many.

April 8, 2011

Friday, Friday, Gettin' Down on Friday. Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend.

 Day 011.
I thought today was a good day for some science pictures. This isn't actually my experiment or part of my job, but I'm friends with the person and I thought the experiment was not only good to do for science, but it was also aesthetically pleasing! The purple wells indicate a leak in the glass tubes. Not so good, but made pretty tubes.
You can really notice how much extra liquid got into the purple wells. Craziness! Hopefully, we'll get this issue resolved soon.
